New Blood at Peach

What started out as a dream for Matt Plummer has not only become a reality, but a full time job.

As a valued member of the Peach crew for the past two years, Matt is one of the great minds that brings campaigns to life for our valued clients and partners.

Starting out as a freelance artist at Peach, Matt headed to London town, and during his two year stint was best known for his work across the UK on the 3Mobile account, working on all promotional materials - everything from in-store graphics to packaging and signage.

During his time at Peach, Matt lists his favourite assignments as those that stretch the imagination and cut-through the clutter for clients.

One of Matt’s highlights was working on the Newcastle Knights ‘Defend Your Kingdom’ campaign; where edgy, unique visual communication and innovative presentation delivered outstanding results to launch the Knights’ 2009 season.  Check it out here

Matt recently completed the design for 14 major websites for the Panthers Group which incorporated their new branding and marketing strategy. Check out www.panthers.com.au

Art isn’t Matt’s only talent; he’s also the resident muso at Peach and a founding member of the Newcastle music-scene success story, Supersonic

Featuring on guitar and vocals, Matt and a group of high school mates conquered the airways of major radio stations like Triple J and toured the nation for a couple of years.  On the cusp of a record deal with a major label, Matt headed back to university and to the field of visual communication and he hasn’t looked back since.

Matt’s advice for successful visual communication is simple – remember that everything your audience can see (or even NOT see) sends a message.
